It isn’t really about how much money you spend, it’s more about the thought that is put into it. My swap partners became friends that I may never meet but can always share my joys with.
Fibreshare is my favorite part of the year. I get to dive through my stash to find the perfect yarns for my partner. Sometimes I even get to dye or spin them something! The best part, of course, is making new fibre friends around the country and around the world! I get to share my passion with other like-minded fibreheads!

This year is the first time that I have participated in Fibreshare. I was not disappointed! I made a new friend and discovered many talented crafters and artists. I was even introduced to yarn that I didn’t know existed. I will definitely be participating in the future! Thank so much. Go team crochet!
I loved connecting with new people who share my love of knitting. I had fun choosing items to send to my receiving partner that represented where I live, and I also received a thoughtful package too. It was a win/win/win activity!!!
FibreShare has brought more than just new yarn into my life – I now have friends from across the world who inspire me with both their craft and their joyful lives.
If you love yarn and indulge in making others happy – this is the right place for you! I had a blast everytime and I met so many lovely people from all around the world. The only thing, better than receiving a swap parcel perfectly curated for you, is to search for, find and send all the goodies to your partner. I’m soooo happy that I joined a couple of years ago and am looking forward to many more fun swaps.
The FibreShare experience is so worth it! I have made friends and the parcel of yarn and other gifts was just a bonus. It really made me widen out in both my fibre experience and social networking in such a positive way. Ashley and Beth do an awesome job organising it all and keeping everybody advised as to what is going on. They really do work hard. I highly recommend it!
FibreShare has been an amazing experience for me! I live in an extremely rural area which is hard enough to get “local” yarn in let alone exotic yarns. AND there is zero fibre community here. FibreShare has provided me with both of these things! I’ve met some amazing fibre artists and feel like I’m part of a great maker community PLUS I get sent yarn that I would never be able to get my hands on normally to try! I seriously recommend it to everyone I know that even has a slight interest in fibre!
